Howdy!

It seems that after one and a half months the site is back from the coma.

Meanwhile we had an Acoustic Club and a concert at the Bonyai restaurant, but that doesn't matter now.

What is important, that Milan Ikhardt joined us as a full time banjo player.

The recording of the new demo is done with him, the demo will be published of coruse when it's done.

It's still under discussion what, when and how the other two banjo players of the band will play banjo... :)

Here's the autumn and we're back in business with the Acoustic Club.
We'll have Bornemissza Ádám and Petruska András as the guests of Poa Pratensis on 26th September 2010.
The location of the club has changed to the Könyvtár Klub: 1088 Budapest, Múzeum krt. 4, next to Astoria.
We start at 6pm as usual, we hope to have a great jam after the concerts. You're allowed to bring your instrument!

La Roche Bluegrass Festival 2010 - results

We're happy to announce that on the La Roche Bluegrass Festival (Fr) held between 29th July and 1st August we came in on the 5th place in the competition.

We had a great time at the festival - the place was beautiful, the people were helping, the weather was most of the time great.

We'd like to say thank you to the organizers for making this festival happen. Thanks to Christopher, Eric, and the couple of Didiers we met.

One of the complications of the trip: trailer hitting the concrete wall on the motorway next to Milano on the way home. Thankfully no one and nothing (except for the trailer) got hurt.


8th International Bluegrass and Acoustic Music Festival, Abaliget, 6-8th August 2010.

Porta Festival - Ústí nad Labem (Cz)

On the 24th July after a long time travelling and burning the clutch of the car in a traffic jam we arrived to the Czech town Ústi nad Labem where the Porta Festival took place. Together with the band Yasya we represented Hungary in the contest of four countries.
While the three songs we had to play didn't satisfy us artistically, getting the second prize of the publicity awards and drinking beer afterwards definitely felt good.
